Disruptive Technologies, Utopian Worlds, Hybridizations Among Humans and Non-Humans In this contribution, a necessary disambiguation between antithetic political visions (utopian versus dystopian narratives) of the future is carried out by tackling the disruptive socio-tecno-innovations of our contemporary times. The aim is to give a philosophical account of «posthuman»; this expression is to be understood as referring to symbols and phenomena different from those associated with «transhuman». Such a clarification allows us to conceive a hypothetical polity made up of humans, hybrids (cyborgs, enhanced organisms), artificial beings (machines, humanoid robots) who are free and equal, at least in principle.
