Including stakeholders in the innovation process is essential to developing sustainable practices. Positioned in the responsible research and innovation (RRI) framework, the study outlines a set of opportunities with which public utilities can increase their innovation levels in line with the global priorities and 17 goals of the United nations’ 2030Agenda for Sustainable Development.
