This article aims at questioning some assumptions which frame the current debate on Islamic Feminism. Firstly, there is the assumption regarding the structural incompatibility between the Qu'ran and women rights that needs to be tested by means of hermeneutical tools. Secondly, the thesis asserting the univocity of the movement is to be considered, debated and embedded in the proper way. Those two issues is what has been tackled and examined in this essay.
